Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Page layout; Upper: 4.5 cm, Bottom: 2.5 cm, Left: 2.5 cm and Right: 2.5 cm.

2. The number of pages for each study varies according to the length of the subject. This length can be a minimum of 12-15 pages and a maximum of 25-30 pages in 1.5 lines Times New Roman with 11 font characters.

3. Main titles in upper letters, bold and Times New Roman, 12 font size; The first letters of the subtitles should be upper, bold and Times New Roman with 11 pt.

4. While numbering the main heading and sub-titles, 1, 1.1, 1.1.1. should be numbered like.

5. Explanations in articles should be given in parentheses instead of footnotes.

6. Resources; In-text and end-of-text references should be written in APA 6 format.

References in the text should be indicated in parentheses together with the year of publication. Some examples are given below.

* If a single author reference is specified in the text (author's surname, year), it is sufficient to write.

For example (Yılmaz, 2004).

* If a source with two authors is specified in the text, the names of both authors are specified each time.

For example: (Kaya and Akgül, 2008).

If the references are more than one, the author's surnames are listed alphabetically and separated by (;). (author's surname, year of publication; author's surname, year of publication), (Abisel et al., 2005; Kejanlıoğlu et al., 2004).

All references in the chapter should be written on a separate page at the end of the article. References should be listed alphabetically on the basis of the first author's surname and year of publication. The accuracy of the references is the responsibility of the authors.

Single-author article from the journal

Author's surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume (Number), Page Range.

Multi-author article from a journal

Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name., Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume (Number). Page Range.

Book with a single author:

Author's surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Title of the Book. Place of Publication: Publisher.

Author's surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Title of the Book. Name Surname (Trans.). Place of Publication: Publisher.

Book with multiple authors:

Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name., Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name., Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name., Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name., Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's namer. & Author's surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Title of the Book. Place of Publication: Publisher.

Book with Editor:

Author's surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Ed.) (Year). Title of the Book. Place of Publication: Publisher.

Chapter in an Edited Book:

Episode author's surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Section name. Editor's Name Surname (Eds.), In Title of the Book (p. Page Range). Place of Publication: Publisher.

Theses:

Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Thesis Title. Master Thesis / Doctoral Thesis. Name of the University / Name of the Institute, Place of Publication.

Symposium / Conferences:

Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Year). Name of the Paper, Name of Symposium / Conference, Organizing Institution, Organization Date, Place of Organization, Page Range.

Internet Resources:

Author's Surname, The first letter of the author's name. (Release date). Title, Internet Address. (Access Date: Date).

7. All tables, figures and graphics should be placed in the relevant place in the study. Table and figure titles should be short and descriptive, written in lowercase letters. Table, figure and graphic titles should be in 10 pt, Times New Roman font. Table title should be written above the table, and figure and graphic titles should be written below. Its detailed explanation and sub-notes should be written at the bottom of the table, figure and graph. If abbreviations are used in tables, figures and graphics, explanations of these abbreviations should be given just below. A period should not be placed at the end of the table, figure and graphic titles and the explanations below.

8. The relevant author is responsible for the accuracy of the references. References that are not directly utilized or cited from other sources should not be cited, and no unpublished sources should be cited.

9. Turnitin report should be 15% maximum.
