The Journal of Health and Management has adopted the principles and rules of the Committee onPublication Ethics (COPE) in all the studies will be published.Editors, referees and authors are expected to comply with these ethical principles and rules. In this context, the Journal of Health and management follows the “Codes of Conduct and The Best Practice Guidelines for journal editors” and “Code of Conduct for journal publishers” documents of the publication Ethics Committee (COPE).

The Journal of Health and Management accepts publications within the context of the ‘Directive on Scientific Research and Publication Ethics of Higher Education Institutions’. According to this regulation:

Actions Against Scientific Research and Publication Ethics:

(1) Actions contrary to scientific research and publication ethics are as follows:

a) Plagiarism: Representing the original ideas, methods, data or works of others as their own work in part or in whole without attributing them in accordance with scientific rules.

b) Forgery: Using data that doesn't actually exist or has been falsified in Scientific Research,

c) Distortion: Falsifying research records or data which is obtained,display of unused devices or materials in research as if they were used, falsifying or shaping research results in the interests of supported individuals and organizations,

ç) Rerelease: To present repetitive publications as separate publications in academic appointments and promotions,

d) Slicing: Presenting the results of a research as separate publications in academic appointments and elevations by dividing them into pieces improperly, which violates the integrity of the research, and publishing them in more than one number,

e) Unfair authorship: Including non-active contributors among the authors or not including those who are active contributors, changing the author order in an unjustified and inappropriate manner, removing the names of those who with active contributors on the work in subsequent editions, using their influence to put their names among the authors, even though they have no active contribution,

(2)Other types of ethical violations include:

a)Not specifying the persons, institutions or organizations and their contributions in the publications made as a result of the researches conducted with the support,

b) To use the thesis or studies that have not yet been submitted or accepted as a source without the permission of the owner,

c) Not complying with ethical rules in researches on humans and animals, not respecting patients rights in their publications,

ç) To act contrary to the provisions of the relevant legislation in biomedical researches and other clinical trials related to humans,

d) Sharing the information contained in a work that has been assigned to review with others before it is published without the explicit permission of the owner of the work,

e) Misusing the resources, spaces, facilities and devices provided or allocated for scientific research,

f) Baseless, unwarranted and deliberate allegation of ethical violation,

g) To publish the data obtained without the express consent of the participants in a questionnaire and attitude research conducted within the scope of a scientific study or if the research will be conducted in an institution, also without the permission of the institution,

h) To harm animal health and ecological balance in research and experiments,

ı) Failing to obtain written permissions from authorized units in research and experiments before starting work.

i) Research and experiments in legislation or engage in activities contrary to the provisions on related research and experimentation of the international conventions that Turkey is a party.

j) Failing to comply with the obligation to inform and warn those concerned about possible harmful practices related to the scientific research conducted by researchers and authorities,

k) Diğer kişi ve kuruluşlardan elde edilen veri ve bilgileri bilimsel çalışmalarda izin verilen ölçüde ve ölçüde kullanmamak, bu bilgilerin gizliliğine saygı duymamak ve
korunmasını sağlamak ,

l) Akademik atama ve yükselmelerde bilimsel araştırma ve yayınlara ilişkin yanlış veya yanıltıcı beyanlarda bulunmak,

Bilimsel Araştırma ve Yayın Etiği Açısından Değerlendirilemeyecek Durumlar

(1) Anonim bilgilerin, bilim dallarının temel bilgilerinin, matematiksel teorem ve önermelerin çalışmalarda kullanılması, bir başkasının özgün üslup ve anlatımını aynen kullanmamak kaydıyla etik ihlal olarak kabul edilemez.
